Duong Nhieu, Physical Therapist, is the Director of New York Mind Body Institute.  A graduate of New York University in 1999, he trained at the world-renowned New York University Medical Center-Rusk Institute, as well as in other clinical settings.  He also offers clinical lectures for the NYC Department of Education.  Duong's extensive experience includes working with various musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, such as: degenerative joint diseases, repetitive stress disorder, multiple sclerosis and sports injuries.  In addition, Duong believes in and understands the inter-relationship between the mind and body: tress and emotional wellness can affect the body.  He employs techniques such as acupuncture and relaxation to supplement his traditional physical therapy techniques.

 
  In his own time, Duong enjoys mountain biking, hiking, fencing, writing music and cooking.  He is fluent in both Vietnamese and Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese)
